Infera supports many different hardware configurations across the Mac, Windows and Linux operating systems, but it still has certain prerequisite requirements inorder for your node to get jobs. This keeps the network healthy and job completion time low.

Your system must have a supported GPU and proper drivers installed for that GPU in order to function correctly and recieve jobs.

Minimum System Requirements

  • 16GB of RAM
  • 3GB of free disk space for the base model (up to 40GB total space of all supported models)
  • Reliable 10MB/s network bandwidth
  • Supported GPU (see below)

Supported GPUs

To run an Infera Node your system MUST have one of the following:

  • Any Apple M chip (M1, M2, M3, M4)
  • Any NVIDIA GPU with at least than 8GB of dedicated VRAM
  • Any AMD GPU with at least than 8GB of dedicated VRAM
